Website for a Kuala Lumpur material library: browse 300+ materials online, then book a visit to see them in person.
## 01
Problem
matlab’s customers are designers, architects and students who need to find the right material for a project. They needed one place to explore the collection online and book a paid visit to see the samples in person.
## 02
Research
I mapped how visitors move from browsing to visiting: first by category (stone, wood, textiles, recycled and more), then by material, then by booking a slot.
## 03
Design
A material library organised into clear categories with image cards, plus a new visit flow. Visitors register or log in, pick a pass (student or professional), choose a date, share their project type and material interests, and upload proof of payment, all in one form.
## 04
Build
Rebuilt in WordPress with Bricks Builder. I added a new booking form (pass type, date, project details, guest count and payment proof upload) and a member login and registration system, the groundwork for matlab’s planned online subscription. The client can add new materials and events themselves.
