A rebuilt website and case tracker that lets a Penang conveyancing firm's clients check their case progress, and its staff manage it.

## 01

Problem

The firm’s website and case tracker were built inside Hostinger’s hosting. All the custom code was tied to the site’s theme, so a single theme update could wipe it out. The tracker had security issues and bugs, such as notes being erased when a case was edited. Clients had no reliable, safe way to check their case progress.

## 02

Research

I worked closely with the firm to design the new site and map out their full conveyancing procedure, step by step. Together we organized how cases, contacts and updates should be managed, which shaped the tracker and the staff CRM. We also agreed on key needs: 7-year data retention and data kept with their host.

## 03

Design

A clean public site plus a staff dashboard. The tracker shows case progress without any client details, and reference numbers are easy to read out over the phone.

## 04

Build

I built the public site and staff dashboard as one system, connected to the firm’s existing database so their data stays with their host. Staff sign in securely, and every change is recorded so nothing is lost or untraceable. The old case data was moved over carefully, and a separate demo version was used for testing so real client information was never at risk.
